NWS: Winter Weather Advisory Creating Dangerous Road Conditions

Advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 11 a.m. Monday.

Periods of sleet, snow and freezing rain could create dangerous conditions, according to the NWS.

“Moderate to at times heavy sleet could fall through mid-morning, creating slippery conditions and significantly impacting the morning community,” the advisory cautions. “Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.”
