10th Annual Oswego Cemetery Walk

The Oswegoland Heritage Association and the Oswego Public Library are
teaming up for the 10th year to present the popular Oswego Cemetery
Walk. The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Oswego Township Cemetery on

South Main Street. Beginning at 7 p.m., groups of approximately
15 people will be escorted to a series of grave sites to visit the
“ghosts” who live there. Groups will leave every five to 10 minutes. The
last group will lead off at 9 p.m. The Oswego Cemetery Walk is held in
the dark with only kerosene lanterns for illumination. Those attending
should bring a flashlight, wear comfortable shoes, and expect moderate
walking. Park on Main Street and use the south entrance to the Oswego
Cemetery. There is no charge for the event, no seating is provided and
there are no reservations.

Rain date is tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11, same time, same place.
