Friends of Ostomates Worldwise USA FUNDRAISER at The Painted Penguin, Aurora

FRIENDS OF OSTOMATES WORLDWIDE USA (FOW-USA) FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD SATURDAY OCT. 12 AT THE PAINTED PENGUIN FAMILY ACTIVITY CENTER, WESTFIELD FOX VALLEY MALL, AURORA--SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY MISS CHICAGO 

(Aurora, Il--Sept. 18, 2013--)The  Friends of Ostomates Worldwide USA (FOW-USA) are holding a fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at The Painted Penguin Family Activity Center at Westfield’s Fox Valley Mall in Aurora from 5-8pm. FOW-USA is the only national non-profit (501c3) volunteer group dedicated to providing ostomy supplies to individuals in need outside of the US. This volunteer group  uses funds raised  to send donated ostomy suppplies to people and clinics around the world. Thus, FOW-USA contributes to the quality of life to those people who have colostomies, ileostomies and urostomies. This Fund Raiser will not only raise funds to support FOW-USA’s mission but will help spread awareness about those who do not have access to much needed medical supplies. This fun family event takes place on October 12th from 5-8pm. There will be  painting, pizza, raffles, silent auction and more for only $25.00 per person. (Each additional family member $20.00). There will be a special appearance by current Miss Chicago, Savannah Teegarden. She is a graduate of Ball State University and a talented singer who is working  to deal with Life After Loss: Hope and Healing for Today's YouthSPlease call The Painted Penguin at (630)820-0005 to register. The Painted Penguin offers over 3.000 choices of plaster or bisque  to paint, beading and lots of space and fun craft activities for children as well as adults. It's the perfect family venue to entertain all ages and can host any type of event ranging from children's birthday parties to adult retirement parties. 

Owners Mike and Robin Nasatir, a married couple with young children at the time, came up with the idea of a fun, affordable activity center where the entire family could have a great time and not spend  too much money. There are locations in Illinois, Ohio and Atlanta.

The centers are run by energetic, artistic and family minded individuals and are clean, bright, full of color and offer a great  time to have fun, express creativity and relax in a welcoming  environment. The best part is that you get to take your work of art  home with you that very same day!
