World Book Day

On April 23rd, Oswego High
School’s chapter of the National English Honor Society will be participating in
a worldwide event called World Book Night.  Each year, WBN volunteers
across the country hand out copies of 30 popular book titles in the hopes of
spreading a love of literature to non-readers.  For these copies, the
authors of the books waive their royalties and publishers cover production
costs.  NEHS applied and was selected to take part in the mass
distribution.  Continuing its dedication to promoting a love of the
English language, the society will be handing out free copies of a few of the
selected titles at the local establishments, including The Village Grind,
Buffalo Wild Wings, and Chipotle.
