Oswego St. Baldrick's Celebrity to Appear on Live TV

Meredith Winn will be on WSPY TV 30 Wednesday.

Fourth-grader Meredith Winn's St. Baldrick's fundraising efforts have earned her recognition on the organization's website and gotten her named the Jersey Mike's "Citizen of the Month."

Now, the 10-year-old Southbury Elementary student will make her TV debut.

Meredith, who has gone door-to-door and even sported green hair in her bid to raise money to fight children's cancer, will appear on WSPY TV 30's "Fox Valley Today" at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19.

The interview will air live and re-run at 6:30 and 10:30 p.m., mom Merrily Winn said. Click here to find out where to tune in.

As of Tuesday morning, Meredith had raised more than $5,700 toward her $6,000 fundraising goal.

She'll get her head shaved Friday during a Character Counts assembly at Southbury.
