Huntington Learning Center Earns Top Accreditation

Learning Center recognized for achievements with MSACESS approval

The Huntington Learning Center of Oswego, located at 1130 Douglas Road, has been recognized for its professional learning standards by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSACESS).

"With every school in our area moving forward with increasingly rigorous standards for achievement, students need to optimize their learning potential through programs that offer the highest quality service," said Alexa Backus, Center Director of the Oswego Huntington Learning Center. "We’re proud to have the acknowledgement and certification of MSACESS for the hard work and dedication of our top-quality teachers at every one of our sites. We heartily encourage every parent or guardian who’s interested in gaining extra help for struggling students to learn more about how and why this accreditation is so important and why Huntington Learning Center requires all centers to earn this respected recognition."

MSACESS establishes protocols and standards for learning institutions to ensure they provide top quality services. MSACESS accreditation signifies that the educational mission at the Oswego Huntington Learning Center is clearly documented and supported by its staff, that the curriculum is rigorously defined and organized, and that instruction is professionally sanctioned and tailored to the needs of individual students. It also recognizes that Huntington’s instructors are fully qualified and that Huntington fosters productive relationships with students and their families.
