Adopt Me: Montana Yearns to Roam Free

This adorable miniature pinscher is ready for adoption now at the Kendall County Animal Control Shelter in Yorkville.

Meet Montana, a seven-year-old miniature pinscher looking for someone to take her home.

Montana has been at the Kendall County Animal Control Shelter in Yorkville for about a month, according to Warden Anna Payton. And like most mini-pinschers, she said, she has a “big dog attitude in a little dog’s body.”

But she’s very friendly, does well with kids and other animals, and would be a good addition to any home, Payton said. Montana is housebroken, but she has bladder stones, which cause her to urinate frequently. She’s currently receiving treatment in the form of antibiotics and a special diet.
