Snapshot: Quilter's Dozen Club Benefits Oswegoland Park District

Last week, Quilters’ Dozen Quilt Club President Susan Shaddle presented a $600 check to the Cindy Benson.

The check represented half the proceeds from the club’s annual PrairieFest Quilt Raffle, and will go to help defray expenses for the community celebration.

Earlier this summer, the quilters awarded the proceeds to the in Oswego where the group meets each Thursday.

This year's quilt, "Memory Lane," was won by Sandwich resident Peggy Russell. It was handmade by quilt club members. For more information on the Quilters’ Dozen, call 630-675-6264.
