Wine on the Fox Set for This Weekend

The Village of Oswego in collaboration with the Oswego Tourism Bureau and the Oswegoland Park District is pleased to announce Wine on theFox, a premier wine festival in downtown Oswego at Hudson Crossing Park Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.

With the assistance of the  and the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association, Wine on the Fox will take place in Hudson Crossing Park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Both days will include wine from 19 Illinois wineries, scrumptious fare from local vendors and musical entertainment including Trio, Jeff LaMarre and Kurt Schoenfielder, the Jin and Tonic Band, How Far to Austin JoBu, Ring Tone, and the Lisa Rene Band. A designated driver tent will be sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oswego.

This event is free and open to the public. Wine Tasting is $15 per day for a souvenir wine glass, a wristband and five tasting tickets. An Advanced Two-Day Pass may be purchased for $25 which includes one souvenir wine glass and 10 tasting tickets (5 per day). Advanced Two-Day Passes are non-refundable. Additional tasting tickets are $1 each.
