Barb Jean Wachholz, 67, Loved Her Family, All Animals and the Ocean

Barbara Jean Wachholz, age 67 years, of Oswego, IL died peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 3, 2013 with her loving family at her side.  She was born November 27, 1945 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Robert Frank and Dorothy Elizabeth nee Beiring Plumb.

Barb was employed for 15 years by the City of Naperville as an administrative assistant prior to her retirement on March 26, 2010. 

Barb’s greatest love was her family, all animals and the serenity of the ocean.

Barb is survived by her husband Robert J (whom she married on September 1, 1972 in Chicago, IL), six daughters Julie (Dennis) Brummel of Oswego, IL, Jennifer (Brian) DiNicola of Batavia, IL, Jessica (Kevin) Vosburgh of Oswego, IL, Lisa (Rich) Pahl of Wausau, WI, Angela (Pete Cabeen) Wachholz of Cloverdale, CA, Renee (Gerald) Greenwood of Kelseyville, CA, two sons Robert (Gissela Sabillon) Wachholz, Jr of Schaumburg, IL, Anthony (Gretchen) Wachholz of Cloverdale, CA, thirteen grandchildren (With a granddaughter on the way!), a great granddaughter and a sister Donna (Karl) Gawlas of Forest Park, IL.  She was preceded in death by two grandchildren Haille Wachholz and Domenic DiNicola.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY,  1801 Douglas Road  Oswego, IL.  Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Pearce Cemetery in Oswego, IL.
