Bertha E. Gillespie, 55, was a Member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church

Bertha E (Collie) Gillespie, 55 years, of Aurora, IL died suddenly on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born April 11, 1958 in East Chicago, IN the daughter of the late Bruno and Dorothy nee Emond Lipka.

Bert graduated from Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, IN Class of 1976. She went on to become a Registered Nurse graduating from Waubonsee Community College, School of Nursing in Sugar Grove, IL. She was employed as the Medical Director of the Individual Advocacy Group in Romeoville, IL. She was a member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego, IL.

Bert was very loved by her entire family and is survived by her husband DouglasMartin Collie; one daughter Meghan Grace Collie; two sons Brandon Lee White, Clark Michael Gillespie; two step-sons Brandon James Collie and Ryan ChristopherGianni; three grandchildren Taylor Nicole White, Lane William White and Zoe Ashley White; a sister Magdalene Lipka; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her second husband Clark Frederick Gillespie and son RyanJay White.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL.Funeral services conducted by Rev Terry Hennessey on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Oswego Presbyterian Church 1976 Route 25 Oswego, IL. Burial will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
