Obituary: In Loving Memory of Dawn Brown

Dawn Renee Brown, age 44, of Big Rock, IL died suddenly on Monday, November 12, 2012 at her residence.  She was born August 1, 1968 in Aurora, IL.       

Dawn attended the English Congregational United Church of Christ in Big Rock, IL.   

She had worked at Nicor in Aurora, IL, Surplus Line Association in Chicago, IL and was a paramedic/firefighter with the Big Rock Fire Protection District in Big Rock, IL since 2003 and the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District in Yorkville, IL since 2007.

Dawn is survived by her husband Robert D. Brown, whom she married on November 14, 1992 in Oswego, IL, her mother Joyce M Clark of Queen City, MO, her father James H Judd of Millington, IL, her paternal grandmother Betty Judd of Bloomfield, IA, in-laws Charles and Barbara Brown of Montgomery, IL, aunt Connie (Larry) Oaks of Bloomfield, IA, a cousin Michael (Leslie) Oaks of Bloomfield, IL, niece Samantha Oaks Bloomfield, IA, sisters-in-law Cindy Ledger, Kimberly and Tami Brown, brothers-in-law Charles Brown, Jr, and Craig Brown and Larry Ledger, god-daughter Carissa Brown, also several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ernest and Eva Humphrey, paternal grandfather Leroy Judd and brother-in-law Kevin Brown. 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the English Congregational United Church of Christ, 301 Rhodes Street,  Big Rock, IL with Rev William Riegle officiating. Cremation took place at American Crematory in Oswego, IL.
