Obituary: In Loving Memory of Hilda Niehaus

Hilda Niehaus, age 87, of Oswego, Ill. died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 at her home.

Hilda was born September 21, 1925 in Lincoln, Kansas, the daughter of the late Ephraim and the late Hilda (Musmann) Meier.  She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL.  

Hilda is survived by her daughter Andrea (David) Nation of Oswego, IL; grandchildren Danielle, Christopher and Julianne Nation all of Oswego, IL; nieces and nephews Charles Meier, Don Meier, Martha Ann Pumphrey, Paul Meier, Dorothy Linn, Ted Meier, Stanley Nolting, Steve Nolting and Neil Nolting; and several great nieces & nephews.

 Hilda was preceded in death by her, husband Paul Niehaus; siblings Minnie Meier, Albert Meier, Alma Meier, Ben Meier, Alvin Meier, Ferd Meier, Bertha Nolting, Eph Meier, John Meier and 2 infant siblings; nephews Robert Meier, Milton Meier and Dale Meier. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Barkes-Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington St., Columbus, Ind. 

Memorials in Hilda’s honor can be made to the St. Paul Building Fund, 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora, IL   60506.
