Obituary: In Loving Memory of Joseph Anthony Kuczin

Joseph Anthony Kuczin was a member of Oswego's Cornerstone Christian Church.

Joseph Anthony Kuczin, age 70 years of North Aurora, IL, died Sunday, December 16, 2012.  He was born November 25, 1942 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Stanley and Minnie nee Ribbeck Kuczin.  On September 7, 1963 he married Nancy Coode and she survives.

Joseph was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Oswego and the Lions club of North Aurora.  Joseph worked as a design engineer for Metalbox International for many years.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Coode Kuczin of North Aurora, IL, three children, Joseph Kuczin, Jr. of Prescott Valley, AZ, Diana (Dan) Gillihan of North Aurora, IL, Amy Kuczin-Wickens of Plano, IL, seven grandchildren, Army PV2 Daniel (Katie) Alvarez of Ft. Knox, KY, Nicholas Alvarez of North Aurora, IL, Erin Wickens of St. Charles, IL, Tyler Wickens of Plano, IL, Elizabeth Wickens, Plano, IL, Anna Wickens of Plano, IL, and Keira Gillihan of North Aurora, IL, sister Karen Kuczin and partner Bob Moran of Parma, OH, and brother Henry (Kathy) of Itasca, IL.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.  Cremation was performed per Joseph’s wish.

A gathering of friends will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Christian Church, 262 S. Madison Street, Oswego, IL with Pastor Bob Reid officiating.
