Tim J. Doerr, 51, Loved Sports and Spending Time with His Family

Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Timothy J. Doerr, 51, a resident of Oswego, died suddenly Monday, Oct. 28.

He was born Feb. 10, 1962, in Milwaukee, to Neil and Elaine Doerr.

Tim grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School. He went on to graduate from UW-Stout with a Bachelor of Arts and later earned a master's degree in organizational behavior from Benedictine University.

On May 28, 1995, he married Jennifer A. Francisco, of Ransom.

He was director of human resources for Diversified CPC International in Channahon. He formerly worked in the hotel industry as a human resources manager.

Tim was a sports fanatic. He loved the Packers, Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. He was a high school basketball referee in the Western suburbs, loved playing golf and was a fantasy football and baseball enthusiast.

He enjoyed researching genealogy and working to create his family tree. Tim was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Downers Grove. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with her and their three cats.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer A. Doerr; his parents, Neil and Elaine Doerr, of Nye, Mont.; three brothers, Kevin Doerr, of Milwaukee, Dan (Donna) Doerr, of Racine, Wis., and Pastor Christopher (Carrie) Doerr, of Waupun, Wis.; sister-in-law, Katherine Doerr, of Milwaukee; and his niece and nephews, Carley, Elisha, Jonas, Benjamin, Thomas, Simon and Micah. He also is survived by his wife's parents, Frank and Peggy Francisco; and brother-in-law, Tony Francisco, all of Ransom.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his niece, Evangaline.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 525 63rd St., Downers Grove, where a funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. Interment will be private at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ransom.
