Letter to the Editor: Upcoming Election

Dear Editor:

As a resident of Kendall  County, I would like to express my support for Judy Gilmour, who is a candidate for District 1 Kendall County Board.

On November 6 we will be going to the polls to decide who will represent us in Kendall District 1. I have known Judy Gilmour since my wife and I moved to Yorkville in 2005. I have had the opportunity to work with her on community advocacy groups during that seven year period. I was  impressed with Judy’s commitment to the welfare of Kendall county residents and her diligence in delving deeply into issues. She studies to make herself informed on issues that directly effect us.

She shows a willingness to research issues as they come before the Board. Judy will represent us well on the Board because she is a fiscal conservative. We have all seen our escalating property tax bills. Judy will encourage her fellow Board members to establish sensible priorities on how our hard earned tax money is to be spent. Judy is a lady of high integrity, intelligence and dedication to the taxpayers of Kendall County. A vote for Judy Gilmour is a vote for good county government.
