15 Cases of Red Bull Stolen from Oswego Business: Police

Wednesday, Aug. 14

Driving with revoked license

Anthony T. Schroeder, 29, of the 400 block of Gloria Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. at Route 30 and Wolf Road and charged for driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

  • Marco A. Morcno, 30, of the 700 block of Watson, Aurora, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. at Route 30 and Hill and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
  • Monica Ruiz, 40, of the 200 block of Isleview Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 11:36 p.m. and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report of a retail theft that occurred at 5 p.m. at the Oswego Wal-Mart, 2300 block of Route 34. A male subject pushed items from the store in a cart out to his vehicle without paying for them. Loss is estimated at $275.34.

Fraud

Oswego police took a report of fraud that occurred on Aug. 5. The victim reported an unknown subject gained access into a special account and removed approximately $30,000.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred on Aug. 13 at the Ron Westphal Chevrolet, 1400 block of Route 34. An unknown person damaged a vehicle by scratching the paint.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

Harassment

Oswego police took a report of telephone harassment that occurred on Aug. 12 at a business in the 6700 block of Route 34. A subject made multiple calls to the business in an attempt to harass an employee that they once were in a relationship with.

Theft

  • Oswego police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at 8:19 p.m. at the Oswego Dominick’s, 3000 block of Route 34. The loss was reported at $15.88.
  • Oswego police took a report of a retail theft that occurred at 11:55 a.m. at the Oswego Wal-Mart, 2300 block of Route 34. An unknown suspect took 15 cases of Red Bull valued at $288.99.

Monday, Aug. 12

No valid driver’s license

  • Beatriz Castillo, 25, of the 1100 block of Surrey Drive, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 7:55 p.m.at Douglas Road and Old Post and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
  • Raul C. Santos, 25, of the 4800 block of Algonquin Parkway, Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. at Route 30 and Goodwin and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
  • Edgar Hernandez, 26, of the 800 block of Symphony drive, Aurora, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. at Rout 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Diana E. Ruiz, 26, of the 1300 block of Monomoy Street, Aurora, was arrested at 5:29 p.m. in the 3500 block of Route 34 and charged with a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license, said Oswego police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between Aug. 9 and Aug. 12 in the 400 block of Treasure Drive. $7,000 worth of construction equipment was reported stolen.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for retail theft that occurred at an unknown time at the Oswego Cyclery, 0-99 block of Main Street. A bike valued at $300 was reported stolen.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a report of multiple thefts that occurred at a business in the 100 block of Douglas Road. A manager reported an employee was stealing cartons of cigarettes. The employee is cooperating and charges are pending.

Sunday, Aug. 11

Theft

Oswego police took a report for a stolen cell phone valued at more than $400 that occurred at 8 a.m. in the 2500 block of Route 34.

Stuck on train tracks

Police responded to a report of a vehicle stuck on the train tracks at Adams Street. The27-year-old driver attempted to back up on Adams against one-way traffic after making a wrong turn. She did not notice the train tracks and backed on to them, getting stuck in the process.

Saturday, Aug. 10

DWLS; possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis

Steven T. Williams, 21, of the 100 block of South Gate, Aurora; and Matthew S. Kinzie, 19, of the 300 block of Persimmon Lane, Oswego, were arrested at 2:35 a.m. at Washington Street and Harrison Street, said Oswego police. Williams was charged for driving on a suspended license and for no insurance and no plate light. Kinzie was charged with the possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Christopher Watts, 24, of the 100 block of Colonial Parkway, Yorkville, was arrested at Washington and Harrison Streets and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

DUI

Allan V. Panganiban, 28, of the 0-99 block of Dylan Court, Oswego, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. at Ogden Falls Boulevard and Routed 34 and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited with driving with expired registration and improper display of registration plate.

Friday, Aug. 9

Residential burglary, trespass

Robert A. Castro, 50, of the 600 block of Lincoln Station Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. in the 600 block of Lincoln Station Drive and charged with residential burglary and trespass to a residence, said Oswego police. He was also charged for possession of burglary tools.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol, zero tolerance, warrants

Jenna A. Brown, 18, of the 1900 block of Capri Drive, Aurora; and Kelsey Ashe, 22, of the 1900 block of Spinmaker Court, Aurora, were arrested a 1:15 a.m. at Route 34 and Route 71. Brown was charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol and zero tolerance and Ashe was charged with two warrants, said Oswego police.

Burglary to a motor vehicle

Oswego police investigated a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 in the 700 block of Norway. Loss was reported at $2,590.

Thursday, Aug. 8

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report for criminal damage to property in which a vacant building in the 0-99 block of South Adams Street, Oswego was found with graffiti. The incident occurred at an unknown time and damage is estimated at $100.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

No valid driver’s license

Agustin A. Tiburrlo, 32, of the 2100 block of Walcott Road, Aurora, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. in the 0-99 bock of Route 34 and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police. He was also charged for driving with no lights on.
