$450 Bike Reported Stolen from Residence: Police

Wednesday, Aug. 28

Disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing

Al Frankie Solis, 23, of the 0-99 block of Briarcliff, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. in the 600 block of Ebony and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Svetoslav Yordanav Kirilov, 35, of the 4700 block of North Cumberland Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Douglas Road and Barnaby Drive on a warrant, said Oswego police.

 No valid driver’s license, retail theft

Derick D. Hall, 26, of the 7500 block of South Morgan, Chicago, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. at Route 34 and Farnsworth and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license and retail theft, said Oswego police.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred between 8 p.m. on Aug. 26 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 27 in the 200 block of Bluegrass Parkway. The victim’s car was reported keyed on the door while parked in the driveway.

No valid driver’s license

Alma Marguiz, 57, of the 1300 block of Oak Park Avenue, Berwyn, was arrested at Madison and Tyler Streets and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police. She was also cited for speeding and not having insurance.

Retail theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred on Aug. 24 at Target. Loss was reported at $1,744.93.

Monday, Aug. 26

Telephone harassment

Oswego police are investigating a telephone harassment incident that occurred at 1:25 p.m. in the 400 block of Bayberry Drive, Oswego.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Michael J. Vogt, 31, of the 300 block of Wilder Street, Aurora, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. at Route 30 and Trianas, Oswego, and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Terrey Robinson, 35, of the 400 block of Gloria Lane, Oswego, was arrested at his residence at 4:48 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant, said Oswego police.

Sunday, Aug. 25

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Kyle B. Luke, 19, of the 0-10 block of Brockway Court, Oswego, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. at Brockway Court and Brockway and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

Property damage accident

Oswego police responded to a property damage accident in which a 74-year-old driver struck a building in the 0-99 block of Main Street at 11:30 a.m. when backing out of a parking space. No injuries were reported with minimal damage to the building.

No valid driver’s license

Anthony J. Hiatt, 32, of the 0-99 block of Hampton, Montgomery, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. in the 1600 block of Douglas for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for disobeying a stop sign, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Aug. 24

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred in the 2700 block of Route 34. Approximately $100 was reported stolen.

No valid driver’s license, disobeying a police officer

Luis I. Reyna, 20, of the 200 block of Oakview, Aurora, was arrested at 10:03 p.m. at Route 30 and Lincoln Station and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license and for disobeying a police officer, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for a theft of a bicycle that occurred at 7 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Ashlawn. The bike was reportedly left unattended and is valued at $450.

Aggravated battery, domestic assault

Phillip T. Brown Jr., 23, of the 100 block of Springbrook Trail South, Oswego, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Springbrook Trail South and charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Battery

Oswego police responded to a report where a woman said her boyfriend battered her at 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Giona Lane. Police are investigating.

Friday, Aug. 23

No valid driver’s license

  • Omar R. Rivera, 33, of the 2000 block of Fox Point Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. at Route 34 and Ogden Falls and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
  • Sergio Gonzalez, 31, of the 600 block of Watson, Aurora, was arrested at 10:20 a.m. at Douglas and Season’s Ridge and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
  • Abigail Bavajas, 24, of the 500 block of Benton, Aurora, was arrested at 8:10 a.m. at Routes 34 and 30 and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Thursday, Aug 22.

DUI, endangering the life/health of a child

Bevin K. Countryman, 34, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South, Oswego, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. in the 300 block of Springbrook Trail South and charged with driving under the influence and endangering the life/health of a child, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Armani J. Thomtpson, 19, of the 1100 block of Goldfind Avenue, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. at Orchard and Concord on a warrant after being the passenger of a traffic stop, said Oswego police.
