53-Year-Old Glen Ellyn Man Dies in Single Car Crash

Individual pronounced dead Tuesday at Rush-Copley after accident near Wolf and Harvey.

A 53-year-old Glen Ellyn man was killed at about 11 a.m. Tuesday after a single-car accident at Harvey and Wolf roads in unincorporated Kendall County near Oswego.

The man was traveling alone at the time of the accident and no other vehicles were involved, a Kendall County Sheriff's office news release said.

The man was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center by Oswego Fire Protection District paramedics where he was pronounced dead. The name of the man has not been released pending an investigation.

The Kane County Cororner’s Office, which would be charged with releasing the name of the victim as the death was pronounced in Aurora, could not be reached for additional information Tuesday night.
