$6,000 ATV Stolen From Driveway: Police

Wednesday, July 31

Theft

Oswego police took a report of a theft that occurred at 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard. The victim reported some items valued at $200 were removed from a locker without permission.

Oswego police took a report of a theft of $50 worth of gas that occurred back on May 10 in the 2300 block of Route 34. And unknown person pumped the gas without paying and then left.

Tuesday, July 30                                

DUI

Jonny Padillo, 22, of the 1100 block of Store Street, West Chicago, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Route 34 and charged with driving under the influence with a BAC of over .08, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report of a theft that occurred between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Spires Drive. An antique firearm was reported stolen.

No valid driver’s license

Gustavo Santiago-Munoz, 25, of the 700 block of West Gate, Aurora, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. at Route 34 and Chesterfield and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on July 29 in the 1000 block of Station Drive. A car tire was damaged with damages reported at $100.

Monday, July 29

Warrant

Weston S. Romanowski, 32, of the 1600 block of West Ogden, Chicago, was arrested at 12 p.m. in the 3500 block of Route 34 and charged with two warrants, said Oswego police.

Sunday, July 28

DUI, speeding

Luis R. Navarro, 33, of the 1300 block of Indian Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. at Route 34 and Pearces Ford and charged with driving under the influence and speeding, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

Manuel E. Gonzalez-Navarro, 32, of the 500 block of Rosewood, Aurora, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. at Route 30 and Wolf and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.

Driving with revoked license

Juan Leal, 33, of the 2200 block of Waterbury, Joliet, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. at Plainfield and Templeton and charged with driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police. He was also charged with speeding.

Warrant

A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at the Oswego Police Department and charged with a failure to appear warrant, said Oswego police. He was also cited with speeding.

Saturday, July 27

Theft

Oswego police responded to a reported theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 300 block of Grape Vine Trail. An ATV valued at $6,000 was reported stolen from the driveway.

Retail theft

Oswego police took a report of retail theft that occurred at 7:10 a.m. at Murphy’s USA. $39.40 worth of water was reported stolen.

DUI, expired registration

Eric A. Kirnbauer, 22, of the 300 block of Sauk, Batavia, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. at Routes 34 and 30 and charged with driving under the influence and driving with expired registration, said Oswego police.

Hit and run

Oswego police took a report for a hit and run accident that occurred at 11:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Douglas Road.

Warrant, DWLS, fire lane violation

Walter A. Watson IV, 35, of the 200 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. in the 3000 block of Route 34 and charged with two warrants, driving on a suspended license and a fire lane violation, said Oswego police.

Fraud

Oswego police took a report for fraud that occurred online at an unknown time. Loss is estimated at $2,050.

Friday, July 26

No valid driver’s license, speeding

A male juvenile, 16, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. at Douglas Road and Fernwood Road, and charged with driving without a valid license, speeding and carrying an unlawful number of passengers, said Oswego police.
