Theft

Oswego police took a report for a theft that occurred at 7:07 p.m. at L.A. Fitness. $250 worth of items were reported stolen from a locker.

John Wayne Molitor, 37, of the 600 block of South Main Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. at Walmart on a failure to appear warrant, said Oswego police.

Tuesday, Jan. 21

Theft

Oswego police are investigating the theft of a wallet that occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Oswego YMCA. The theft was reported at a loss of $14.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police are investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between Jan. 20 and Jan. 21 in the 200 block of Isleview Drive. A banjo, chargers and a pocket knife, valued together at $522, were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Sunday, Jan. 19

DUI, no valid driver’s license

Agustin Xochina-Flores, 35, of the 1700 block of Illinois Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at Route 34 and Ogden Falls and charged for driving under the influence and for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police. He was additionally charged for driving without lights when required.

Domestic battery

York E. Wilborne, 55, of the 400 block of Valentine Way, Oswego, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

A female juvenile was arrested at Washington and Harrison and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Jan 18

DUI

  • Jose Jacquez Jr., 41, of the 4800 block of Weaver Street, Oswego, was arrested at 5:13 a.m. at Minkler south of Route 71 and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited for improper lane usage.
  • Adrian Villegas, 21, of the 600 block of Manhattan Circle, Oswego, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. at Routes 34 and 31 and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for a theft that occurred at 2:45 p.m. at L.A. Fitness. A cell phone valued at $250 was reported stolen.

Friday, Jan. 17

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at 9:$5 p.m. in the 100 block of Wilson Place. A mailbox was reported damaged.

Retail theft, unlawful possession of alcohol

A female juvenile was arrested at 10:30 p.m. at Walmart and charged with retail theft of less than $50 and the unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

Gabriela Vazquez, 41, of the 300 block of McGarth Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 7:24 a.m. at Treasure Drive and Harvey Road and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Thursday, Jan. 16

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at an unknown time in the 700 block of Cole Avenue, Oswego. The victim reported tools valued at approximately $2,130 were stolen from the vehicle.

Possession, delivery of controlled substance

Two male juveniles, both 15, were arrested at Oswego High School for an incident that occurred on Nov. 6, 2013. One juvenile was charged with the possession of a controlled substance, and the other was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, said Oswego police.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

DUI

Robert J. Biahut, 59, of the 400 block of East Spring Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. at Minkler Road just south of Route 71 and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited for improper lane usage.

No valid driver’s license

Elizabeth Garcia, 33, of the 300 block of Cascade Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 6:04 p.m. in the 400 block of Chicago Road and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported theft of a firearm that occurred at 7:38 p.m. in the 200 block of Liszka Lane.
