Car Slides Off Route 25 into Fox River

Driver found "cold and wet," but otherwise fine.

No one was injured when a car ended up in the Fox River early Wednesday morning.

According to Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputy Craig French, a 22-year-old man was driving south on Route 25 just north of  at about 2:20 a.m. when he lost control of his car on the icy roadway.  The car then left the road and ended up in the river, French said.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle before police and paramedics arrived, French said. He was uninjured.
