Charges Filed Against Semi Driver Involved in Roll-Over
State Police release driver's name.
Michael J. McGovern, 58, of Seneca, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after the rolled over, according to Illinois State Police.
The accident caused the closure of Route 71 near Orchard Road for several hours. McGovern was taken by emergency helicopter to Loyola Medical Center. He has since been released from the hospital after being treated for severe lacerations, police said.
No one else was injured in the accident.

McGovern will appear in Kendall County Court at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 23.
