Crash Suspect Charged with Aggravated DUI

Anthony A. Halstead was charged with a class 4 felony for an accident in June

A man accused of in a June 10 crash that sent three people being sent to area hospitals is charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Anthony A. Halstead, 19, of the 400 block of South Madison Street, Oswego was taken into custody July 27. Halstead was released the same day after posting 10 percent of his $50,000 bond, according to Oswego police.

The June 10 crash occured on Route 30 between Douglas Road and 5th Street.
