Sunday, Feb. 17

Domestic battery

Kyle Alan Walz, 30, of the 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:11 a.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Feb. 16

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

Lawrence Michael Williams, 18, of the 0-99 block of Wyndham, and a juvenile were arrested at 8:23 p.m. at Sheffield and Long Beach. Williams was charged with possession of cannabis and the juvenile was charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis after deputies made contact with a vehicle parked on the sidewalk.

No valid driver’s license

Felipe De Jesus Parra-Marquez, 58, of the 500 block of Gate Street, Aurora, was arrested at 4:49 a.m. at Douglas Road and Long Beach Road and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Driving with revoked license

Brandon Lawrence Wilder, 30, of the 3400 block of N. 45th Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested at 11:14 p.m. at Route 31 and Mill Street and charged for driving with a revoked license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Friday, Feb. 15

Motor vehicle theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported vehicle theft that occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Route 30. The victim had locked his keys in his car and was approached by two males who offered to help. They were unsuccessful and the victim called a friend to get a ride home to pick up a spare key. Upon returning the vehicle was gone.

Thursday, Feb. 14

No valid driver’s license, curfew violations

Three juveniles were arrested in the 100 block of Saugatuck Road at 1:20 a.m., said the Kendall County Sheriff’s department. All three, 13-year-old female, 14 year-old female and 14-yea-old male, were given curfew violation charges. The 13-year old driver was also charged for driving without a valid license, operating a vehicle with expired registration and no rear plate registration light. All were released to parents.

Retail theft

  • Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported retail theft that occurred at 10:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of Route 30, Oswego. A license plate from a vehicle that was parked at the business for an extended period of time was reported either lost or stolen.
  • Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred on Feb. 12 in the 5300 block of Baseline Road. A license plate from a trailer valued at about $20 was reported stolen.

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported burglary that occurred between Jan. 14 and Jan. 17 in the 0-99 block of Ridgefield, Montgomery. An unknown person(s) entered the residence and removed personal items.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported identity theft through the Oswego Police Department in which the victim’s social security number was used to obtain employment through a temporary work agency and car insurance.

Tuesday, Feb. 12

Arson

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of arson that occurred at 10:42 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East, Montgomery. A vehicle was found burning in the driveway. The incident is under investigation.

Endangerment of a child

Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a 2-3 year old child walking in the roadway in the area of Winrock Road and Fernwood Road unsupervised at 8:10 a.m. The child was safely removed from the roadway by neighbors and reunited with the mother. The incident is currently under investigation for potential criminal charges for endangering the health and well-being of a child.
