Drunk Driver Falls Asleep at Wheel, Ends Up In Ditch: Kendall County DUI Reports

A roundup of recent driving under the influence charges.

Saturday, Nov. 2

  • Kathleen Laura Lamb, 21, of the 300 block of Lisa Lane, Somonauk, was arrested at 7 a.m. at Eldamain Road and Schaefer Road, Bristol, and charged for driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to the area for a single vehicle accident and found that Lamb, the driver of the vehicle, had fallen asleep at the wheel and drove her vehicle into a ditch.

  • Patrick Lee Dodd, 57, of the 500 block of Cleveland Avenue, Batavia, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. at Blackhawk Boulevard and Galena Road, Bristol, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper parking and illegal transportation of alcohol after deputies observed his vehicle parked perpendicular to the curb, said the Sheriff’s office.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

Jose Antonio Holguin, 31, of the 300 block of Grand Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. at Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive, Oswego, and charged with two counts of aggravated DUI and one felony count of driving with a revoked license, said the Sheriff’s office after he was stopped for improper lane use and improper stopping on a roadway. He was also cited for the illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver.
