Drunk Man Hits House, Ends up in Pond: Kendall County DUI Reports

A roundup of recent driving under the influence charges.

A drunk driver hit a home in the 100 block of Pine Ridge, Montgomery at 1 a.m. and then ended up in a nearby pond. Eric B. Vazquez, 22, of the 100 block of Maple Ridge Lane, Montgomery, was arrested and charged with DUI, Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, said Montgomery police. Reportedly the man told the homeowner he had been drinking and he lived on the other side of the pond.

James K. Stepps, 42, of the 300 block of Bluegrass Parkway, Oswego, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. at Route 34 and Mason Square Drive and charged for driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police. He was stopped and also charged for driving without headlights when required.
