Four Accidents Reported Due to Slick Driving Conditions Monday

The accidents occurred on Wolf Road and Harvey Road, according to Oswego Police.

For anyone out driving Monday morning, the roads were not kind.

Oswego Police Captain Jeff Burger said they took four accident reports for the area of Wolf Road and Harvey.

"We had a number of drivers in the ditch," said Burger. "The roads were incredibly slick."

The National Weather Service had earlier issued a winter weather advisory due to the icy road conditions. 

“Moderate to at times heavy sleet could fall through mid-morning, creating slippery conditions and significantly impacting the morning community,” the advisory cautioned. “Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.”

There were fortunately were no injuries reported in any of the accidents, said Burgner. 

Salt trucks have been on the roads, but it is still advised to drive carefully.
