Alcohol consumption

Ryan Taller, 20, of Plainfield was charged at about 3 a.m Wednesday at Routes 31 and 34 for consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Oswego Police reports. He was given a court date of Aug. 13.

Monday, July 22

No valid driver’s license

Amoirah DeLacruz, 32, of the 1900 block of Sealo Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 12:01 p.m. at Route 34 and Douglas and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.

Oswego police took a report for an identity theft that occurred at 7:40 p.m. The victim reported an account was opened in their name.

Sunday, July 21

Burglary

Oswego police are investigating a reported burglary of a safe and two handguns that occurred between 9 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Grapevine Trail, Oswego.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police are investigating a reported burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at an unknown time in the 200 block of Isleview Lane.

Disorderly conduct

Oswego police are investigating a reported disorderly conduct that occurred at 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Liska Lane.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported theft that occurred at 8:53 p.m. in the 200 block of Chapin. The victim reported a Red Lady’s Mongoose Bike valued at $350 was stolen from a garage.

Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred at 8:57 p.m. at Murphy’s Gas in Oswego. Several items valued at $10.08 were reported stolen.

Domestic battery

Oswego police are investigating a domestic battery that occurred at 10:02 p.m. in the 600 block of Salem Circle, Oswego.

Saturday, July 20

Forgery, counterfeit bills

Nina L. Williams, 26, of the 3800 block of Grenshaw Street, Chicago; Elijah L. Robinson, 27, of the 2800 block of West Fillmore, Chicago; and Crystal D. Singleton, 20, of the 1000 block of Burton Street, Belmont, Wisconsin; were arrested at 11 p.m. in the 3000 block of Route 34 and charged with forgery after they were caught passing counterfeit bills at the location.

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a hit and run that occurred at 8:23 a.m. at Route 34 and Route 30. A white Mercedes exited a car wash and struck another vehicle westbound on Route 34, pushing the second vehicle into a sign and then over plants and bushes off of Route 34. The offending vehicle did not stop and continued to travel eastbound on Route 34. Damage is estimated at over $1,500.

Friday, July 19

Domestic battery

Angelica A. Juarez, 40, of the 1700 block of Route 34, Oswego, was arrested at 10:46 p.m. at her residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for an iPhone that was reported stolen at 11:15 p.m. in the 2700 block of Route 34. The phone is valued at $400.

Oswego police took a report for a phone that was reported stolen at 3 p.m. in the 100 block of East Washington Street. The phone is valued at $200.
