Increased Traffic Expected for Oswego Beats and Eats Festival

The following was provided by the Oswego Police Department:

The Village of Oswego Police Department is reminding the public to expect increased traffic congestion and delays in Oswego onSaturday August 10, 2013 from 12noon to 10:00p.m due to the Oswego Beats & Eats event.  Motorists should expect delays in particular while traveling on Illinois Route 71 between Washington Street and US Route 34, on Plainfield Road between Illinois Route 71 and Collins Road and on Grove Road.

Parking for Beats & Eats activities is available at the following locations:  Prairiepoint Elementary School, Prairiepoint Park Soccer Field Lot, Grass lot located next to Oswego Vision, Traughber Junior High School, Grass lot next to Public Works and the OHS South Parking Lot
