Jersey Mike's Supporting Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois

From now through April 28 the Oswego Jersey Mike's will donate $1 for every regular sub to the Oswego Police for the Law Enforcement Torch Run in June

Eating sandwiches and supporting a great cause? That's something we can all rally behind.

The Oswego Police Department will be participating in the Local Law Enforcement Torch Run of Illinois for Special Olympics in June where about 3,000 law enforcement officers carry the Flame of Hope to start the opening ceremonies for the Games in Normal, Illinois.

The Oswego Police earlier participated for the tenth time in the Polar Plunge and now are working with the Oswego Jersey Mike's to raise more funds. The Torch Run raised $2.98 million in 2012 and their goal is to reach $3 million in 2013.
