Kendall County DUI Arrests: Feb. 2

A look at recent driving under the influence charges.

Thursday, Jan. 24 David John Marema, 51, of the 2100 block of Gardner Circle West, Aurora, was arrested at 10:52 p.m. at Wolf Road and Route 30 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic crash, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to the scene for a vehicle crash, and found that Marema was driving under the influence and disobeyed a traffic control device. The vehicle he hit had four occupants, with the two juveniles, 10 and 12, transported to Rush Copley for injuries.

Saturday, Jan. 19 Mary K. Carlson, 32, of the 1400 block of Plainfield Road, Oswego, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. at Plainfield Road and Collins Road and charged with driving under the influence and the illegal transportation of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.  Deputies were originally sent to the location for a well-being check for a driver asleep in the middle of the road.

Monday, Jan. 14 Todd Elliot Logue, 51, of the 300 block of McHugh Road, Yorkville, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. at Route 47 and Route 34 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
