Kendall County DUI Arrests: Feb. 9

A look at recent driving under the influence arrests from around the county

Oswego

Feb. 6 Carol S. Parker, 72, of the 400 block of Treasure Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. at Adams Street and Washington and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and improper lane usage, said Oswego police.

Feb. 2 Ryan A. Uher, 27, of the 4300 block of Dobbins Street, Plano, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. at Nottingham Court and Nottingham Drive and charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and leaving the scene of an accident, said Oswego police.

Feb. 1 David Pacyga, 39, of the 0-99 block of Ceboud, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. at Brockway and Northampton and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage that resulted in an accident, said Oswego police.

Montgomery

Two people were nabbed for driving under the influence of alcohol Feb. 2, Montgomerypolice said.

  • Mark Talley, 35, of the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Howell after the vehicle he was driving rear-ended another vehicle, police said. Reports state no one was injured in the accident.

  • Olzaneth Juarez, 21, of the 3200 block of Julie Lane, Montgomery, was arrested for DUI after the vehicle she was driving crossed over the center line striking another vehicle head-on at 3:45 a.m. at Route 30 and Griffin, police said. Reports state the driver of the second vehicle was transported to Rush Copley Hospital with non-life threating injuries.

Yorkville

Feb. 4 James D. Peters, 50, of the 6N200 block of Woodland Drive, Saint Charles, was arrested at 10:27 p.m. in the 10800 block of Route 71 and charged with driving under the influence and speeding, said the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop upon seeing a vehicle speeding at 105 MPH in a 55 MPH speed zone on Route 71 near Legion Road. Peters was arrested for driving under the influence and for speeding 40 MPH or more over the posted speed limit.

Feb. 1 David Saltijeral Jr., 22, of the 300 block of Twinleaf Trail, Yorkville was arrested at 6:06 p.m. at Oak Street and Cannon Ball Trail, Bristol and charged for driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies received reports of an apparently intoxicated person driving southbound on Cannonball Trail in a northbound lane. Deputies also discovered Saltijeral had damaged a pedestrian crossing sign and was also cited for improper lane usage and no proof of insurance, according to reports.
