Kendall County DUI Arrests: Jan. 19

A look at those recently charged with driving under the influence around Kendall County.

Oswego

Friday, Jan. 11 Dana V. Rott, 18, of the 100 block of Oswego Plains Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. at Grove Road and Old Reserve and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content level greater than .08 and the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police. She was also cited for improper lane usage that resulted in a single-vehicle accident of her vehicle.

Tuesday, Jan. 8 John W. Solan, 31, of the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. at Washington and Route 71 and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis more than 2.5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Jan. 5 Dawn A. Taylor, 47, of the 400 block of Monroe Street, Oswego, was arrested at 5:32 a.m. at West Anchor Drive and Shore Court and charged with driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for a headlight violation, illegal transportation of open alcohol and no driver’s license on person. 

Yorkville

Jan. 13 Kendall County deputies arrested 30-year-old Todd Elliott Logue, of the 300 block of McHugh Road, for driving under the influence of narcotics. Police said they responded to a motorist call describing erratic driving of a vehicle matching the description of Logue’s. Deputies contacted Logue and arrested him for driving under the influence of drugs, according to reports. No information was provided as to what type of drugs Logue was allegedly under the influence.

Jan. 13 Police arrested 21-year-old Timothy A. Collins, of the 9000 block of Ament Road, after police discovered him asleep at the wheel of his car, which was stopped in the middle of Route 71, according to reports. Collins was also cited for improper parking on a roadway and a defective windshield, police said.
