Kendall County DUI Arrests: Nov. 10

A roundup of recent driving under the influence charges.

Oswego

Nov. 6 William G. Zarbol, 54, of the 0-99 block of Spring Meadow, Williamsville, New York, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at Madison and Douglas and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.8, said Oswego police. 

Unincorporated Kendall County

Nov. 4 Amy Jean Kaval, 26, of the 400 block of E. Broadway Street, Newark, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. at Route 34 and Marketplace Drive in Bristol township and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license and a DUI blood alcohol level greater than 0.8, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for improper lane usage.

Oct. 30 Jake Edward Smith, 18, of the 200 block of Parkside Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. at Grove Road and Reservation Road and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, zero tolerance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and no proof of insurance, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies had originally arrived on scene for a reported rollover traffic crash.

Oct. 27 Zachary James Thurm, 29, of the 1500 block of Terrace Drive, Naperville, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. at Route 71 and Van Emmon Road, Oswego and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of cannabis, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also charged with improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control signal.

Yorkville

Nov. 7 Police arrested Silvia A. Heimann, 49, of the 45w600 block of Raymond Road for DUI about 8:45 p.m., according to police reports. Heimann was also cited with improper lane usage.

Oct. 24 Yorkville police arrested Wendy L. Wilson of Big Rock for DUI. Wilson, 53, was charged with improper lane usage, driving without lights and DUI, according to Yorkville police. According to the police report, Wilson was driving westbound along Route 34 without her headlights, even though it was about 10:30 p.m. She was pulled over by officers at Cannonball Road.

Montgomery

Nov. 4 Enemesio Bravo-Ramirez, 36, of the 400 block of South Commonwealth Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:20 a.m. at Lincoln and Ashland Avenue after police stopped his vehicle for disobeying a stop sign, police said. Reports state Bravo-Ramirez was also issued citations for driving while license is suspended and illegal transportation of alcohol after officers found an open can of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle.
