Kendall County Sheriff Blotter: Robbery Suspect Arrested

Bradley Stanley, 29 of Brookside Lane in Bristol, was arrested for burglary and theft at Sartain Construction, 2700 Buell Road in Oswego, police said.

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies and Yorkville Police responded to a burglary call at the construction company just before 4 a.m. Monday. 

A witness had seen a man police believe was Stanley, giving a detailed description  of the suspect and his car. 

"The suspect Bradley Stanley, and the vehicle he was operating were located moments later, and a search warrant was obtained for the vehicle," according to the sheriff's statement.

Items reported stolen were recovered from Stanley's vehicle, police said. Stanley is charged with burglary and theft.

Mark Coziar, 20, of Springdale Road in Montgomery, was arrested Tuesday for failure to appear in-state warrant, illegal possession of ammunition without a firearm owner identification card, police said.

Drew Anderson, 25, of Hillstone Road in Montgomery was charged with resisting and obstructing a peace officer, police said. Sheriff's deputies responded to assist an ambulance in a possible domestic violence situation and someone making suicidal threats, according to the police statement.

Robert Taptich, 22, of Yellowstone Lane, Yorkville, was arrested for DUI after he was found sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle on the roadway, police siad. He was parked on the Cannonball Trail north of Bristol Ridge Road. Taptich was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and sited for improper parking on the roadway, police said.

June 26


Maurice Meyer, 53, of Salem, Oregon, was stopped at Route 47 and Whitewillow Road for having only one headlight. Police assertained that his driver's license was suspended, police said. He was arrested and taken into custody and transported to Kendall County Jail. He was also issued a warning for one headlamp, police said.
