Saturday, Jan. 19

DUI, Illegal transportation of alcohol

Mary K. Carlson, 32, of the 1400 block of Plainfield Road, Oswego, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. at Plainfield Road and Collins Road and charged with driving under the influence and the illegal transportation of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.  Deputies were originally sent to the location for a well-being check for a driver asleep in the middle of the road.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported burglary that occurred between Jan. 4 and Jan. 14 in the 2200 block of Route 31. Multiple construction tools valued at $15,800 were reported taken.

Friday, Jan. 18

Unlawful interference with visitation

Nicole B. Gomez, 20, of the 0-99 block of Woodland Drive, Plano, was cited for the unlawful interference with visitation at 6 p.m. in the 4000 block of Mill Road.

No valid driver’s license

Roberto Rios-Gonzalez, 22, of the 300 block of Grove Street, Aurora, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. at Route 30 and Gastville Road and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

Domestic battery

A male juvenile was arrested at 2:58 p.m. in the 1500 block of Light Road, Oswego, and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred on Jan. 16 in the 9400 block of Caton Farm Road. A truck’s tailgate valued at $350 was removed from the vehicle while it was parked for sale at the above location.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at 5:15 p.m. at Long Beach Road and Springdale Road. A driver’s side mirror was struck by an oncoming vehicle while traveling on Long Beach Road.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft under $300 that occurred at 8 p.m. in the 9700 block of Route 126, Yorkville. 28 Hydrocodone Acetaminophen pills were reported missing from the victim’s lunchbox.

Monday, Jan. 14

No valid driver’s license

Chiquita Johnson, 37, of the 25800 block of Lockport Street, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. at Minkler Road and Hunt Club Drive and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for one red taillight and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Disorderly conduct

Alexander Simpson, 26, of the 6700 block of Chicago Road, Platville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an investigation in which Simpson reportedly posted on a social networking site a message that contained threatening language and alarmed another person. Deputies found through investigation no evidence that any steps were taken to carry out the threats.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported burglary that occurred at an un known time in the 200 block of Route 31, Oswego. Approximately 100 feet of copper wire and 2 buss bars were taken from a cell tower.

Retail theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred at 10:40 a.m. in the 9600 block of Route 34, Bristol. A male reportedly stole a Dewalt drill set valued at $199.99.

Criminal damage to property

Steven D. Hartman, 40, of the 0-99 block of Springdale Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. at his residence and charged with criminal damage to a residence. Around midnight on Jan. 14 someone had damaged an exterior of the residence with a paintball gun, with damages estimated at $10.

DUI- drugs

Todd Elliot Logue, 51, of the 300 block of McHugh Road, Yorkville, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. at Route 47 and Route 34 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Domestic battery

Kathleen Ann Sautter, 52, of the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:17 p.m. at her residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Sautter reportedly threw soda pop at a family member while in a verbal argument. 

Sunday, Jan. 13

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Christopher Byron Johnson, 30, of the 2100 block of Walcott Road, Aurora was arrested at 5:38 p.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive East, Oswego and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation of a plate light out. Johnson was also cited for driving with a suspended license and the unlawful possession of a firework.

Burglary from motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported burglary from a motor vehicle that occurred between Jan. 12 at 10:30 p.m. and Jan. 13 at 12:00 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Spring Garden Road.  An unknown suspect broke the window of a parked vehicle and took the AM/FM/CD player valued at approximately $250.

Domestic battery

Edgar Francisco Martinez, 19, of the 0-99 block of Durango, Montgomery, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Jan. 12

Domestic battery

  • David Michael Rutherford, 53, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery of family members, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
  • A male juvenile, 15, was arrested at 2:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Delores Street, Oswego and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
