Local Woman Arrested for Forgery at an Oswego Bank

Taffie C. Thompson presented three stolen checks to a bank.

Editor’s Note: The following is from a press release issued by the Oswego Police Department:

 Oswego Police have concluded the investigation of a report taken in July 2012 where a female suspect had presented three stolen checks in June 2012 to a bank in the 3200 block of Orchard Road and received $1,443.69.

Taffie C. Thompson, 37, of the 400 block of Watson Street in Aurora, was charged with Forgery, a class-3 felony. A warrant was issued for her arrest with bail being $10,000 and ten percent required to e posted. Thompson is currently being held in the Kane County Jail on unrelated charges.
