Man Found Sleeping in Field, Charged with DUI: Sheriff

Sunday, March 17

DUI

Ryan Allen Sloan, 27, of the 4300 block of Wavery Road, Erin, Tenn., was arrested at 1:24 a.m. in the 10000 block of Corneils Road, Bristol, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in a barn in the area and found Sloan.

Zero tolerance, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor

Harrison Scott Warpinski, 19, of the 10300 block of Neward Road, Newark, was arrested at 6:52 a.m. in the 8400 block of West Highpoint Road, Kendall, and charged with zero tolerance and the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, said the Sheriffs office. Deputies responded to a reported single vehicle accident that had crashed through a fence. Warpinski reported he was driving home from a party at friend’s house where he had been drinking.

Warrant

Devon Orion Bice, 18, of the 2500 block of Caliendo Circle, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:38 a.m. in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for criminal damage to property, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

  • A male juvenile was arrested at 12:31 a.m. at Galena Road and Concord Drive, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid license due to time restrictions, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for failing to dim high beams for oncoming traffic.
  • Two male juveniles were arrested at 3:58 a.m. at Route 47 and Route 71, Yorkville, said the Sheriff’s office. The driver was charged for not possessing a valid license and no rear registration light and both were cited for a violation of curfew.

Unlawful display/use of registration

Andrew M. Plata, 26, of the 300 block of Railroad Street, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Seneca and charged with the unlawful use and display of registration, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies discovered the plates did not match Plata’s vehicle and found that the driver had transferred the plates from an inoperable vehicle several months before and did not have valid registration for his current vehicle.

Friday, March 15

Driving with revoked license

Shawn Marie Pundsack, 36, of the 0-99 block of Pueblo Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:53 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Pueblo Road and charged for driving with a revoked license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for expired registration.

Thursday, March 14

Theft

Deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred between 9 p.m. on March 13 and 5:30 p.m. on March 14 in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, Oswego. Two extension ladders valued at $325 were reported stolen.

Speeding

Samuel B. Katz, 24, of the 600 block of Kristen Street, Plano, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. at Eldamain Road and Galena Road and charged with speeding 31 miles over the speed limit, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Katz was found to be doing 81 mph in a 50 mph speed zone.

Warrant

Daniel Gonzalez, 23, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:01 a.m. at his residence and charged with two warrants, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. One warrant out of Kendall was for theft and the other was out of Kane County for contempt of court.

DUI

Andrew Louis Orosco, 26, of the 5600 block of Walnut Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 5:35 a.m. in the 2000 block of Simmons Road, Oswego, and charged with driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to an incident of a car within a farm field, and found Orosco asleep in the vehicle and determined he was under the influence of alcohol.

Unlawful display of registration

Jaime Perez, 47, of the 800 block of Church Street, Aurora, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. at Longbeach and Douglas and charged with the unlawful display of registration, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. They pulled the vehicle over because the registration plate did not match the vehicle and found that Perez had switched valid license plates from one of his vehicles to another. He was also charged for not being able to produce valid insurance on the vehicle.

Wednesday, March 13

Domestic battery

David Lee Weeks, 63, of the 600 block of Victoria Avenue, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:43 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery after reportedly grabbing a family member, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, March 12

Aggravated battery

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported aggravated battery that occurred at 12:10 a.m. in the 2500 block of Bristol Ridge Road.

Monday, March 11

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported theft that occurred at 7:10 a.m. n the 0-200 block of Dolores Road, Oswego. An Xbox 360 system was reported stolen.

Obstructing identification, body writ

Tessa Marie Sexton, 27, of the 300 block of Mulhern Court, Yorkville, was arrested at 11:03 p.m. at Route 34 and Bridge Street and charged with obstructing identification and an active body writ* out of Kendall County, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Deputies went to the location to investigate 4 suspicious person in the roadway and found that Sexton was wanted for body writ and she provided a false name at time of the incident, and was thus arrested for obstructing identification.

*A writ of body attachment is a process issued by the court directing the U.S. Marshal to bring a person who has been found in civil contempt before the court. The process may also be called an order of commitment for civil contempt or a warrant for civil arrest. (U.S. Marshal)
