Missing 84-Year-Old Arlington Heights Man May Be in Kendall County

Eugene Jonsson was last seen at 12:45 a.m. in Kendall County.

An Arlington Heights man was reported missing this afternoon and may be in Kendall County, according to the Arlington Heights Police Department.

Eugene Jonsson, 84, was reported missing by a family member after he left his residence at 7:45 p.m. and has not been seen since. The Arlington Police Department released a missing person report at 12:02 p.m on Friday, Aug. 23.

An officer at the department confirmed that as of 2:15 p.m. Jonsson had not been found.

Eugene Jonsson is described as male, white, 84-years-old, 5’10″ 190 lbs. He has blue eyes, and gray/balding hair.

Police said Jonsson was last seen driving his vehicle, a Gray 2004 Buick LeSabre 4 door with the license plate of JONS507, in Kendall County at 12:45 a.m. 

He does not have any known medical conditions but has been reported as getting lost driving in the past. He reportedly does not have a cell phone on him but is believed to be carrying a wallet.
