Motorcycle Crash Leads to DUI: Kendall County DUI Arrests

Oswego

Sunday, June 2 Erik Salgado Jr., 20, of the 1000 block of East Galena Boulevard, Aurora, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. at Route 31 and Century Drive and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and driving with a suspended license, said Oswego police.

Friday, May 31 
Colleen I. Sanchez, 55, of the 400 block of Stonewater Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Hoover Circle and charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident, said Oswego police. She was also cited with failure to reduce speed.

Yorkville


Saturday, June 1 Dakota Ewald Malert, 20, of the 400 block of East Abe Street, Plano; Travis Antone Schmid, 20, of the 0-99 block of South Linden Drive, Plano; Ian Basil Johnson, 20, of the 2000 block of Bittersweet Drive, Plano; Tyler James Debolt, 20, of the 500 block of West Abe Street, Plano; and Tyler Charles Vacca, 19, of the 3400 block of Eileen Street, Plano, were all arrested at 2:15 a.m. at Route 47 and Walker Road,  said the Sheriff's office. Deputies received a report of disorderly conduct in the 6800 block of Chicago Road, Yorkville and found the suspects had left the scene and were driving intoxicated. Deputies found the vehicle and Malert, Schmid, Johnson, Debolt and Vacca were all found intoxicated and charged with the unlawful consumption and possession of alcohol. The driver, Malert, was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Montgomery


Saturday, June 1 Amanda G. Semenek, 21, of the 100 block of Tealwood, Montgomery, was arrested at 2:23 a.m. at Douglas and Farmington Lakes and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. She was also cited with failure to signal.

Saturday, June. 1 A South Holland man was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his motorcycle at about 2 a.m. June 1 in the 800 block of Victoria Drive, according to Montgomery Police. Bryant Mooney, 23, drove his motorcycle westbound down Jericho Road at more than 40 mph over the speed limit, disobeying a traffic light and continuing down southbound Orchard Road, police said. Mooney turned east on Brentwood and lost control of his bike and sustained non-life threatening injuries that sent him to Rush-Copley Medical Center.
