Multiple Arrests Reported for Domestic Battery: Sheriff

Sunday, Dec. 22

Domestic battery, interfering with reporting of domestic battery, criminal damage to property

Kevin Dale McMinn, 51, of the 0-100 block of Saugatuck Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. in the 100 block of Saugatuck and charged with domestic battery after he caused injury to his girlfriend, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged with criminal damage to property and interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery.

Delia Hernandez, 37, of the 0-30 block of Greenbriar Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. at her residence and charged with domestic battery after she threw items and struck her ex-spouse in the back, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Dec. 21

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of identity theft that occurred between midnight and 6:04 p.m. The victim reported an unauthorized charge was made to their credit account.

Thursday, Dec. 19

Domestic battery

Bradley Thomas Friel, 25, of the 0-99 block of Ashlawn, Montgomery, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery after an investigation revealed he battered his girlfriend by grabbing her hair and refusing to let go, said the Sheriff’s office.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Possession of cannabis

Milton Ruiz-Valenzuela, 19, of the 800 block of Bishop Street, Aurora, was arrested at 5:40 a.m. in the 400 block of Route 30, Oswego, and charged with the possession of cannabis after the vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped for an equipment violation, said the Sheriff’s office.

Contempt of court, resisting police officer

Waldemar Zajczyk, 58, of the 300 block of Cascade Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. at the Kendall County Courthouse and charged with contempt of court and resisting a police officer, said the Sheriff’s office. When he was placed under arrest for contempt for court, he resisted arrest and was taken into custody by Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies with assistance from the La Salle County Department and two Illinois Department of Corrections officers.

Monday, Dec. 16

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for battery between two juveniles that occurred at 3 p.m. at Circle Drive West and Boulder Hill Pass. The battery was the result of a fight on a school bus. The investigation is ongoing and charges may be pending.

Attempted burglary

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the 100 block of Circle Drive West. Forced entry was made to a home, but no items were reported missing.
