Multiple Incidents of Criminal Damage to Property, DUIs and Burglaries Reported: Police

Burglary

Oswego police are investigating a reported burglary that occurred 8:51 p.m. in the 700 block of North Sparkle Court, Oswego. A laptop was reported stolen from the residence.

Sunday, March 31

DUI

Kevin D. Adams, 25, of the 8000 block of James Avenue, Woodridge, was arrested at 6:15 a.m. in the 1100 block of Route 34, and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police are investigating an incident of reported criminal damage to property that occurred between 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. in the 2700 block of Route 34. A parked vehicle was reportedly keyed, resulting in damages estimated between $750 and $1,000.

Hit and run

• Oswego police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at an unknown time at Mill Road and Orchard Road. A speed limit sign was damaged with damages estimated at $100 plus.
• Oswego police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred between 8 p.m. on March 30 and 8 a.m. on March 31 in the 400 block of Burr Oak Drive. A mailbox was damaged with parts of the vehicle left behind. Damage is estimated at $100.

Saturday, March 30

DUI, disobey traffic control device

Cesar A. Ortiz Jr., 24, of the 0-99 block of Brockway, Oswego, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. at Route 34 and Heritage Drive and charged with driving under the influence and disobeying a traffic control device, said Oswego police.

Domestic battery

Oswego police investigated a reported domestic battery that occurred at 9:35 p.m. in the 400 block of Raintree Drive, Oswego.

Thursday, March 28

Burglary

Oswego police are investigating a burglary which occurred at an unknown time and date in the 1900 block of Wiesbrook Drive, Oswego. $75 was reported in damages and $25 reported stolen.

Driving with revoked license, speeding

Abimael Rodriguez, 28, of the 100 block of Hillstone Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. at Route 34 and Fifth Street and charged with driving with a revoked license, speeding, failing to signal and an uninsured motor vehicle, said Oswego police.

Wednesday, March 27

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police investigated a reported criminal damage to property that occurred in the 100 block of Willow Way and in the 400 block of Burr Oak. Damages were reported at $300 in each incident.

Criminal trespass to property

Peter J. Dalgaard, 56, of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Douglas Road and charged with criminal trespass to property, said Oswego police.

Domestic battery

Manuel J. Vasquez, 46, of the 200 block of Ashcroft, Oswego, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.
