Multiple Minors Charged with Underage Drinking: Police

Wednesday, Nov. 6

No valid driver’s license

Rufino Minguiz, 28, of the 400 block of North View Street, Aurora, was arrested at 151 p.m. at Southbury and Colchester and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police. He was also cited for speeding.

Justine K. Villeneuve, 18, of Canada, was arrested at 11:48 p.m. at Copley and Route 34 and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

Catherine J. Jeschke, 41, of the 500 block of Elizabeth, Coal City, was arrested at 9:34 p.m. in the 3000 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police.

Monday, Nov. 4

Retail theft

Oswego police took a report for the retail theft of gasoline that occurred at 10:36 a.m. at the Circle K Gas station, 1100 block of Route 34. $25.74 was reported stolen in gas.

Theft

Oswego police took a report of theft that occurred at an unknown time on Nov. 1 in the 100 block of River Mist Drive. The victim reported his mail was stolen.

Residential burglary

Oswego police took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Cinderford Drive. An Xbox 360 and cash was reported stolen. Total loss is estimated at $438.

Sunday, Nov. 3

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for two counts of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between 10 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 2 in the 500 block of Lakeview Drive. An unknown person entered two unlocked vehicles in the driveway and stole two cell phone chargers, a GPS unit and change. Loss is estimated at more than $150.

Theft

Oswego police took a report of a theft of an iPod Touch valued at $300 that was stolen sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 in the 400 block of Gloria.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Oscar Guillen, 20, of the 1300 block of Talma, Aurora, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. at Park and Jefferson and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Sierra C. Bonilla, 18, of the 700 block of Wilmore, Oswego, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. in the 100 block of Chicago and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

Retail theft, possession of alcohol

Erick R. Brown, 19, of the 700 block of New York Street, Aurora, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft and the unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

Dantrell J. Hines, 19, of the 2000 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, was arrested at 6 a.m. at Route 34 and Ogden Falls and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police. He was released on scene.

Friday, Nov. 1

Theft of a motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for the theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in the 300 block of Prairieview Drive at approximately 4 a.m. An unknown person entered the victm’s open garage and stole a 2006 Dodge Charger that was parked inside. The  loss is estimated at more than $1,500.

Warrant

Wayne A. Howard Jr., 31, of the 100 block of Seaton Creek Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. in the 3500 block of Route 34 on a warrant, said Oswego police.

Retail theft

Shawnna L. Askin, 26, of the 300 block of Earlville Road, Earlville; and Eddie L. Barbee, 31, of the 200 block of Flagg Street, Paw Paw, were arrested at 6:31 p.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft of $169.79, said Oswego police.

Domestic battery

Ryan A. Welsh, 27, of the 200 block of East Washington, Oswego, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. at his residence and charged with two counts of domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Damage to property

Oswego police took a report of damage to property that occurred at an unknown time in the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes. The victim reported damage to his vehicle.
