Several residents of Oswego's Blackberry Knolls subdivision received an
unpleasant surprise overnight Monday.
At least three residences on Grapevine Trail had their cars egged overnight on Monday, Aug. 19 into Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Oswego Police Captain Jeff Burgner said the police received two calls about egged vehicles Monday evening and another Tuesday morning.
“We haven’t filed any reports,” he said of the incidents, as the residents have been able to wash off the egg.
He said the police have not come across anyone who has taken responsibility for throwing eggs at the vehicles.
Burgner said it is up to each individual on whether they wish to make a report of the incident or if they wish to chalk it up to “mischievous conduct” and not file a report.
“If there is damage to your vehicle though, definitely make a report,” advised Burgner.
Blackberry Knolls is located north of Mill Road and west of Orchard Road.
