No Students Injured in Car Vs. Bus Crash Wednesday Morning

Five high school students were on the bus.

Bus driver Susan M. Ovesen 54, of Montgomery, was issued a citation in the accident, according to the Sheriff's office.

According to reports, Ovesen failed to yield at a stop intersection when she drove a school bus with 5 students westbound across Anchor Drive and struck a single-occupant vehicle traveling south on 31.

The drive of the vehicle was transported to Rush Copley with non-life threatening injuries.

Neither bus driver or students were reported injured.

No students were reported injured in an early morning bus crash Wednesday, according to Oswego 308 Director of Communications and Public Relations, Brian Graves.

The accident, according to Patch dispatch reports, occurred at 6:44 a.m. at Route 31 and Anchor.

A car reportedly hit a school bus carrying five Oswego High School students. None of the students were injured. 

At this time no citations have been written. The incident is under investigation by police.
