None Injured in OHS Bus Accident

Students arriving home about an hour late.

An bus was involved in a minor accident Tuesday afternoon near the school.

According to District 308 communications director Kristine Liptrot, the driver of bus No. 1 hit a light pole near the school as it was set to leave school grounds for the afternoon drop-off.

No injuries were reported, but the bus was deemed undrivable and students were moved to another bus. About 55 students were on the bus at the time and they will arrive home about an hour late, Liptrot said.
