Oswego Blotter: Damaged Construction Equipment, Suicidal Threat, Cannabis Possession

Scott Kaegebein, 26, of the 500 block of Northgate Circle, Oswego, was arrested at Prairieview and Dorchester and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license, Oswego police said.

Kendall County Sheriff's police responded to a report of a subject who allegedly had a gun to his head and was making suicidal threats in the 100 block of Hill Stone Road in Oswego Township, police said. The subject was taken to Rush-Copley Hospital for psychiatric treatment, according to police.

Oswego police are investigating after someone allegedly damaged windows on a Caterpillar earth mover machine on Deerfield Drive, police said. Damage is estimated at under $2,000, police said.

A 16-year-old male was arrested by Oswego police and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis at Oswego East High School, 1525 Harvey Road, police said.

Someone broke a mailbox valued at $18 in the 500 block of Bison Road, Oswego police said.
