Oswego Blotter: Driver Charged with Violating Cell Phone Ban

Arrests reported by Kendall County Sheriff's Police.

Charlotte Marie Calhoun, 27, of the 4700 block of Mill Road, Oswego, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's Police during a traffic stop for obstruction of view at 11:45 a.m. at Route 31 and Light Road. During the stop, police learned Calhoun had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear in court, and she was taken into custody, police said.

Fernando Olayo, 31, of the 800 block of Superior Street, Aurora, was arrested after a traffic stop at 9:55 a.m. at Route 31 and Mill Road and charged with driving without lights during inclement weather and unlawful use of an electronic communication device while driving, police said.

That's amazing, because I have counted 17 officers violating the same Law since the first of the year. Have any of them Paid Their Fines?

Yeah they are cracking down so hard I was pulled over for having a coke bottle in my hand.
