Oswego Blotter: Man Accused of Driving 50 mph Over the Limit

Arrests reported by Oswego police, Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

Feb. 13

Two 17-year-olds were arrested by Oswego police and charged with possession of cannabis at 6:14 p.m. at a business in the 2300 block of Route 34. One of the teens was also charged with retail theft and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Feb. 12

Eddie Ochoa Jr., 23, of the 1700 block of Violet Street, Aurora, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police at 7:53 p.m. at Caterpillar Drive and Route 31 and charged with driving 50 more more mph over the limit. Police said Ochoa was driving 81 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was also cited for driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Feb. 11

Michael Paul Schamrowski, 19, of the 0-100 block of Ingleshire Road, Mongtomery, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police at 11:13 p.m. at Fernwood Road and Briarcliff road and charged with possession of a small amount of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving a vehicle with expired registration, police said.
